Swing That Thing is proud to host the second Adelaide Lindy Exchange in January 2024 After such an incredible show of support from the Lindy community at the first ALX we have decided to go big with ALX 24 - more nights of dancing, bigger venues, more passes on offer, more friends to catch up with/ and make! Weekend Rundown & Details Thursday 25/01/24 “Welcome to Adelaide!” Venue: Russian Community Centre 239 The Parade, Norwood SA 5067 Event: 7:00pm - 12:00pm Music: DJ Dress: Casual Friday 26/01/24 (public holiday) “Vintage Enthusiasts Rendezvous' Venue: The Burnside Ballroom 401 B26, Tusmore SA 5065 Event: 7:00pm - 12:00pm Band from 7:30pm Music: Live Band & DJ DaNICAs DREAMers Quintet Dress: Vintage attire Saturday 27/01/24 “Grand Gestures are Exchanged’ Venue: The Adelaide Town Hall 128 King William St, Adelaide SA 5000 Event: 7:00pm - 12:00pm Band from 7:30pm Music: Live Band & DJ Millie Sarah and Company Dress: Grand! Dress up to the nines and dance in one of the grandest and most historical venues in Australia (No joke, it’s THE venue.) Sunday 28/01/24 “Florals? For Spring? (Summer 👀). Groundbreaking.” Venue: The Gov 59 Port Rd, Hindmarsh SA 5007 Event: 7:00pm - 12:00pm Band from 7:30pm Music: Live Band & DJ Lucky Seven Swing Dress: Floral (if you can be bothered, we aren’t the boss of you) And that’s that folks.
