Aerial Dance Arts - Silks Lyra Spins (limited space) DESCRIPTION :: Whether you are new to Aerial Arts or new to our programs this class is the perfect way to begin your exploration into the world of Aerial classes ! This class is open to EVERYONE (ages 16 and up) and all fitness levels. During this introduction of basic fundamentals, you will experience our signature warm up, learn a sequence including spins and transitions, and cool down with a stretch for beginner splits. This class will lead you into the world of aerial dance and experience a flying empowerment. Jasmine Rose is a devoted yogini who is passionate about sharing mindfulness, circus and healing arts. She was trained as an ashtanga yogi in nicaragua, as an acroyogi in montreal, as an aerialist with CirQus Montreal and as a circus instructor with the National Circus School of Montreal. She has many years of experience in teaching and performing ground and aerial acrobatics. She feels the most joyful when inverting on her hands or dancing in the air and is looking forward to sharing her movement medicine with you Sound Healing Renew your physical body, mind, and energy field as crystalline frequencies wash over you. Let go into waves of sound intended to soothe you and move your entire system through stages of release, expansion, activation, and integration. Be prepared to get super cozy. This evening will be facilitated by Scott Adam. During this evening Scott will introduce breathing techniques which will allow you to reach new states of conscious awareness with acute perception of both your physical and energy body. It will be practiced laying down, relaxed very little effort required. As you practice these techniques you will feel the flow of prana or life force move through physical, emotional, and energetic blockages. The end result is the healing of the body and mind and the expansion of consciousness. Live sounds and recorded sounds will accompany this journey and aid the opening of the energetic pathways.
