SANTAMARIA, is the artistic director of the JAS Dance Academy and is an internationally known dancer, choreographer, and instructor. He has danced all over the world as well as the USA. Jose was born in El Salvador and has been the leading dance instructor for Salsa, Bachata, Ch-Cha-Cha and most Latin Dances in the Greater Sonoma County. Creator and founder of JAS DANCE ACADEMY, Rumbambeo DC., Sangre Latina DC. and the Latin Dance Program. Jose is also the producer of the Wine Country Salsa & Bachata Festival. This amazing event takes place in the Wine Country. As part of his participation in the Latin scene, Jose has also been the choreographer and coordinator for the 205-2008 Latin Grammys Street Parties in NY, Miami, Dallas, Chicago and Los Angeles. This has given Jose the opportunity to work on stage with names like Pitbull, Orishas, Calle 13, Victor Manuel, and many others. He's experience extends to his coaching and instruction in several Salsa & Bachata congresses & festivals around the world. Jose has travel all over South America, Europe, and North America. Jose is also responsible for the thousands of salsa and Latin dancers in and around Sonoma County. With over 19 years of experience in teaching Jose is the leading dance instructor in the North Bay. JASDANCE SANTA ROSA is a groundbreaking Salsa and Latin Dance Academy with longstanding roots in Sononma County community.
