The Basics of Argentine Tango with Adriana Salgado & Orlando Reyes

Learn tango from the 2021 ATUSA Tango Salon Champions (and 2019 ATUSA Stage Tango Champions)! There will be a group workshop with two classes: 7:30 - 8:30 PM: Introduction to Tango - Embrace, walking and musicality fundamentals 8:30 to 9:30 PM: Introduction to dissociation – the basis for ochos and turns. No need to bring a partner, just bring not too grippy shoes which allow you to pivot. PROOF OF COVID19 VACCINATION AND WEARING OF MASKS DURING THE WORKSHOP WILL BE REQUIRED! The classes are FREE for anyone, however donations (eg $5-10 per class) from non-students are welcome in case you would like to help us bring tango events like this back to the Upper Valley.
