The Big Bristol Braai

It’s the Big Bristol Braai Venue: Almondsbury Creative. 10 Gloucester Rd,Almondsbury,Bristol, BS32 4AA Date: Sat 24 May 2025 Time: 1pm There’s a lovely big grass field next to the pub where we’ll all have a braai from 1pm and then we’ll head into the pub for a jive. Bring your own braai, meat, tongs, deck chairs etc. (Don’t worry if you aren’t able to bring your own braai as we’ll bring a few with space for others too). Please note that meat won’t be sold at the venue so best to bring some along👍. Pub grub will also be available if you don’t want to braai. If there’s a bit of rain, please bring your gazebos as rain won’t cancel this event. For allowing us to use their grounds, please support the pub and buy your drinks from them. We kindly request that you don’t bring your own drinks onto the premises. Thanks The amazing Peace of Afrika will be selling delicious treats like milk tart, peppermint crisp and koeksisters etc. Cash and card accepted. They’re so talented that they’ll be able to do portraits of your pets too. Come meet some fellow Saffas and make some friends. Kids and dogs are welcome. Darren is one of the best DJs we’ve ever heard and he’s going to be rocking the choons. Please stick around afterwards for a bit of dancing 💃🕺 See the pics and videos in our previous posts of the last braais we’ve had. (Please give us a hand in tidying up the braai area afterwards and when the grounds are all clear, let’s move over to the pub area, grab some drinks and continue the party👍💃) Just a note to say that it’s been requested that we don’t set up any disposable barbecues or similar due to grass fire risk.
