It seems we're really co-creating a portal for community to empower themselves through dance and foster oneness in song and bliss. After our most recent Hallowe'en/Samhain celebration which was one of our most wonderful yet, we're happy to return as we link to the incoming vibrations of the New Moon in Sagittarius, signified by the Archer and connected deeply to the centaur of Greek mythology, Chiron, who holds the archetype of the Wounded Healer. Thus, as we journey deeper into the darkening days of Autumn on the verge of Winter, we are called to spark this dance in the name of finding and tending to our inner-radiance in the midst of darkness. Indeed, this is where we also find our wounds transforming to wisdom by the skillful alchemy of our healing ways, of which ecstatic dance is such a significant modality to support these intensities. THE BIG LOVE begins with a Cacao Ceremony where each participant will receive a free raw Chocolate elixir that will enthuse our hearts to open and raise our collective vibration. We will soon be announcing our special ceremonial guests and opening performers who will hold down this aspect of our proceedings and we're over-joyed at who will be contributing. Stay attuned! We will then enter into our Ecstatic Dance Journey, DJ'd by our resident BIG LOVE DJ, DJ Druid (aka. Darren Austin Hall). Darren is a marvel at weaving a multi-genre adventure that churns the many textures of our humanity, invoking cathartic release through nimble cues to enter into Shaking Medicine and vocal release, while offering deep emotional music and bombastic beats to engage our wild expression and soul liberation. We will then move into our closing Sacred Soundbath where participants will experience the incredible benefits of sound healing with crystal singing bowls. We are over-joyed to announce that this Soundbath will be extra special as we welcome the Source Resonance Choir to carry us into celestial realms of serenity and beauty. The Source Resonance Choir is composed of graduates of the Source Resonance Sound Healing training that Darren conducts. Together, with many crystal bowls surrounding us, they will weave voice and channelled song, enchanting the world marvelously. We will close with our traditional Heart Mandala Free Chant where participants sing a collectively and freely to share the love we've communally fostered in our dance with the wider world through vibrational offering. This is one of the most beautiful aspects of The Big Love experience as we embody the power of community music to foster a deeply felt experience of oneness. We have decided to run this Big Love earlier than usual seeing that Sundays are generally when people wish to rest and slumber earlier. With the New Moon just before us, activating our intentions, this will be another special Big Love we are sure. We're excited to co-create magic with you ALL! THE BIG LOVE is family-friendly. Jesse Buck was born and raised in Ottawa and moved to Toronto 7 years ago to begin his healing journey of self discovery and alignment.
