The Boston Flow Salsa Bachata Competion Series

The Boston Flow is officially back! 🎉 We are excited to release the details for the 2026 Salsa and Bachata Footwork Competition. It is finally here, and registration is NOW OPEN! Whether you are a returning dancer or a first-time competitor, we look forward to seeing you on the dance floor this season. 🗓️ The Competition Format: This is a head-to-head improvisation battle. No choreographed performances, no pre-planned shine routines—just pure, in-the-moment dancing to the music. Competitors will go head-to-head, improvising to the DJ's selection. The winner of each match progresses to the next level in their qualifying competition. Winners of the qualifiers will advance to the Semi-Finals in July. The finalists will then compete on the Boston Salsa Fest stage in August for the championship title! All matches will be judged by New England's best salsa and bachata dancers. 📍 Event Details: This year, the salsa AND bachata competitions will take place at the same event. Competitors can register for one category or both. Best Part: Register once and compete as many times as you like across the qualifying dates! 💵 Registration Fees: $25 per category (Salsa or Bachata) $45 for both categories (This covers an infinite number of competitions across all dates!) 🎁 What You Get: Every competitor receives a free event t-shirt, free access to the event, and discounts on future Boston Flow events.
