About this Event

Kick off the Easter Bank Holiday with a musical journey through Colombia hosted by The Bright Kites Foundation... From salsa caleña to the Atlantic rhythms of Cumbia and Bullerengue from the Caribbean coast, join us to celebrate the soundtrack of this beautiful country and the future of its younger generations. This night will help three Colombian students realise their dream of travelling to London and taking part in a language and cultural exchange programme this summer. We want to give the these teenagers the opportunity to practice their English skills in a real life context so that when they return to Colombia they are confident enough to apply to university or jobs which they think are out of their reach. Many of these students face daily struggles at home and in their community but despite their situation they power through – we are in constant awe of their motivation and enthusiasm. Help us give hope to these students and come dance through til Good Friday @ Rich Mix London on Thursday 18th April... We'll be joined by some of London's finest Latin creatives from 7.30pm til close. We look forward to seeing you there.
