Here is something to help celebrate the end of Winter, and the arrival of Spring! March is the month that daffodils start to provide yellow bursts of sunshineyness and baa lambs skip and dance. More importantly it is also the month of Café Mambo’s “SPRING BREAK BONANZA”! Come and shake away the winter and put a spring back in your step Café Mambo styley. Once again we have sourced the highest quality ingredients, and blended them to give Café Mambo the fresh and zingy taste you love. This time we have something a bit different and a bit special – a taster of something that can take your dancing to the next level. We have Dr Chip is bringing a “Music Moves taster” to Café Mambo! Music Moves encourages social dancers to develop greater awareness of the music, to be creative and playful in their dancing, and to emphasise the importance of connection between partners. This is a 1 hour taster to warm you up for a full blown music moves on 28th May. Let’s play with the music and DANCE!!!!! ****TWO GREAT PARTY ROOMS *****, offering you a blend of high quality music, Café Mambo Style. In the salsa room we will be serving the usual Café Mambo signature dish of 100% DESCARGA, CHA CHA, SALSA DURA, GUAGUANCO, MAMBO and the second room will be giving you a big helping of BACHATA BLISS. Julian is making his Café Mambo debut. Joining him on the decks are Café Mambo’s resident DJs Sizzla and Ricardo, doing what they do best. In the Bachata room we have Jane Salsaldi (Rev de Cuba, Calle Ocho, Scottish Salsa Congress) We also have 2 great classes: : Dr Chip with her Music Moves and a Dominican Bachata class ( Amanda Hawley,Todo Latino, Nottingham).. WHAT to expect WHEN… 8.30pm Doors open 9.00pm Room 1: Music Moves with Dr Chip 9.00pm Room 2: Dominican Bachata class with Amanda Hawley ( Todo Latino, Nottingham) 10.00pm PARTY TIME! 2.30am Home time!
