The Festival of Contact Improvisation and Climbing in Crimea The VI-th! The sixth sense is telling us that it will be a unique festival. On its own CIC is unique in line with other contact festivals. It unites dance on the the dance floor with dance in nature, the practice of presence with body and movement research in its different manifestations - from somatic exercises to real rock climbing. From year to year its labaratory part expands. Ideas for this year: labs about falling, “the small dance”, Laban/Bartenieff Fundamentals, aerial dance, voice practices… The cozy Novy Svet (New World, Crimea) will be out home during the festival this time around as well, and The Sokol Mountain (The Falcon Mountain) - our ordeal. Alla’s home will be the place where the coolest practical laboratory for a capacitance to live together takes place. Our teachers: Leonardo Lamburchini (Italy) - CI Intensive; Ekaterina Koshkina (Krasnodar, Russia), Roman Singh (Tyumen, Russia), Konstantin Imankulov (Ekaterinburg, Russia), Anna Bogoslovskaya (Ekaterinburg, Russia), Margarita Kozhevnikova (Canada) - classes and laboratories. Ilnur Nagumanov (Ekaterinburg, Russia) and team - rock climbing. It became a tradition to dedicate four days after the festival to an open format for labaratories put forth by the participants for the purpose of independent integration of the material that was “lived through” during classes, as well as additional climbing activities and aerial dance. For those teaching CI, as part of the post-festival (May 9-12) a laboratory for the teachers will take place. The number of participants is limited because of the size location and the program’s difficulty level. When we receive enough number of participant registrations, the registration will be closed. The cost includes accomodation in the house, vegetarian meals three times a day and participation in the master classes. 26 000 rubles - during early registration until March 1st. 28 000 rubles - during registration until April 1st. 30 000 rubles - fron April 1st until the end of the registration. The registration deposit of 5 000 rubles ensures your spot at the festival and is non-refundable. Children 0-1 year old - free. Children 1-4 years old - 3 000 rubles, Children 4-12 years old - 10 000 rules. In order to register send an e-mail to the ogranizers to [email protected]. Сам по себе CIC таковым и является в ряду других контактных фестивалей.Он объединяет в своей программе танец на площадке с танцем на природе, практику присутствия и исследование тела и движения в разных проявлениях - от соматических упражнений до реальных скальных восхождений. Из года в год ширится его лабораторная часть. Задумки этого года: лаборатории по падениям, "маленькому танцу", основам Бартиниефф и Лабан, aerial dance , голосовые практики... Уютный Новый Свет и в этот раз будет нашим домом на время фестиваля, гора Сокол - нашим испытанием. Стало традицией 4 дня после фестиваля в свободном формате уделять лабораториям, заявленным участниками, самостоятельной интеграции прожитого на классах материала, дополнительным занятиям скалолазанием и aerial dance. Для преподающих КИ, в рамках постфеста (9-12 мая) состоится лаборатория учителей.
