We know that there is medicine and magic in showing up to be expanded open again and again; like the moon. So e x p a n d, you starstuff. Make a new infinite home with your movement. Re-sync with the cosmos that we all come from. Re-align bones, blood, breath back with the spinning orbits our ancestors knew to attune everything to. Remember who you are and what you came here to do. 🜄 begin again. d e e p e r this time. 🜄 ⤐ Opening Ceremony begins at 6:30pm and includes a plant-based elixir to guide your warming breathwork, meditation and movement journey. THE DANCE is uniquely activated by the clarifying and healing power of the plants. ⤐ 7:45p: THE DANCE with #DREEEMY ⤐ 9:15p: Closing Soundbath & Integration • DRESS: in what helps you move freely + adornments that tune you into your Divinity • BRING: inklings of intentions for your new year to be fortified in the collective field + a vessel for drinking water • The RENEWAL LOUNGE will provide bodywork (massage, reiki, acupressure) ~ tea and botanical refreshment ~ and space to connect. 🝠🝠🝠🝠🝠 THE DANCE is a conscious dance practice and alcohol-free event that fuses principles of Ecstatic Dance (no shoes, phones, or talking on the dancefloor) with natural sustainably-sourced botanical medicines. We gather in a secular and elemental ceremonial setting informed by authentic ancestral wisdoms and practices. In this way, we intend to decolonize and ground conscious dance experiences so that the healing impact is integrated and enduring. THE DANCE is a somatic healing and regenerative plant medicine experience facilitated by Egyptian Sonic Alchemist, international DJ, and community organizer DREEEMY (also known as Reem Abdou) and Colombian herbalist and plant ritualist Valeria De La Pava.
