Using a healing arts circle as a catalyst for collaborative creativity--we will use SOL VIDA™ Movement Methodology to create a choreopoem based on the exploration of the theme: "How do we stay well while shifting normalcy?" Our training serves as a community care dance activation weaving a variety of dance and healing arts modalities, including: Afro, Modern, Hip Hop and Conscious Dance Forms in addition to Healing Arts Circles, Writing, Choreopoems, Dance Affirmations, Spirit Connection, Nature and Performance Art. This is an invitation to see and be seen and allow yourself to transmute pain, stress, sadness, insecurities, and anxiety into true liberation. We aim to create new paradigms that allow us to relieve ourselves from oppressive systems and limited beliefs and to come up against our edges and find a way through, creatively and wholly… together. In this space, we invite intersectional pathways to discover our commonalities, develop empathy, compassion and deeper vaults of genuine self-love. We use movement as a vehicle for social change, providing the space for artistic leaders to get in right relationship with themselves so that they can remember their true selves and guiding purpose. Participants will leave this training with more tools and skills for inclusive and embodied leadership. You will gain concrete life practices to keep the body, mind and spirit well on a daily basis while feeling more grounded, seen and called to life. All levels. All nations. All genders.
