In this post we would like to share as much information as possible to carefully prepare you for our gathering. If you have any questions you can always let us know. How to rock a Babylon event! Come early and end late! This event is a banger from beginning to end. Join us from the start for the Opening Mediation, the Ecstatic Dance on Saturday and the Solar Sacred Dance on Sunday. Nothing can beat this experience. Come with an open mind and open arms. Kindness is key.. We are counting on you bringing your loving energy and contributing to a project we have been working on for months. If you meet a volunteer that helps us this weekend, thank him greatly. Without our volunteers we simply can not exist. Sold out events: Soon we announce that all three events are SOLD OUT! Please be cautious of scammers. Purchase through Ticketswap and if you have any doubt you can always ask. Events & Changeover: Important to understand that we have three separate events. Keep in mind that ALL events have a changeover between them in which the venue asks us ALL to go outside so they can prepare for the next (Babylon) event. On Saturday for example this means we close doors at 22:00 and re-open at 23:00. You can book a restaurant in the area for the short wait or make sure you are dressed up warm to hang in the park with friends. Location: The Gardens of Babylon will all be indoor. There’s no smoking allowed indoor. We have a smoking area that is covered but outside. Venue Address: Klönneplein 4-6 1014 DD AMSTERDAM Arrival: Please arrive by bike, by foot or public transportation. Taxis at the end of the show are very expensive and will try to scam you. You can not park at the venue. You can go to the Q-park nearby. Address Q-park: Van Bleiswijkstraat 8 1051 DG Amsterdam Security: ADE has a zero-tolerance policy towards soft drugs / hard drugs. Please keep in mind that you will be searched before entering the event by security. On arrival you can read how the security is allowed to search. Dutch security is considered to be searching thoroughly. Re-entry: You can not leave and re-enter this event on the same ticket. ADE pro pass: We reserve a percentage for the pro pass. Please keep in mind that when at capacity we hold a one-in-one-out policy. Lockers: There are lockers at the venue. Weekend lockers need to be requested at the locker desk. You can keep this key for the duration of all three events. The lockers that are not marked as Weekend Lockers will be emptied after each event. Avoid losing your stuff and empty the lockers after each event. Food & Drinks: Food & Drinks can be purchased at the venue only. You can not bring your own food or drinks. Recycle your cup! On arrival you receive a recycle token! This gives you your first cup for free. Do not litter your cup or coin, without either you pay a fee for a new cup of €1,50. Payment options: Bar & Food: Only credit card and debit card payments are available. The venue does not accept cash payments. Market of Curiosities: Cash payments & card payments depending on the vendor. Masseurs & Spiritual one-on-one sessions: Cash payments & card payments depending on the vendor. Toilets: The venue charges €1,- per event to use the bathroom. Drinking water: Free drinking water is available at the bathrooms. Beware of Pick Pockets! ADE is known to attract pick pocket gangs. We of course try to filter them out at the entrance. Beware of your stuff. Get a locker, put away your phone and keep your bag closed at all times. In case you see any suspicious situations please alert the team or security. First Aid In Holland you can always go to First Aid or security without fearing an arrest because you are feeling unwell intoxicated or not. First Aid is easily to find through indications and located in the back of the Star Stage. In case you see any fellow dancers feeling unwell please inform the team, security or First Aid.
