Happy New Year Everyone!!! I am excited to announce that I will be teaching this Salsa Partnerwork Workshop. I am also very excited to be coming out to Boulder to come rock with you guys. And I am MOST EXCITED, to be teaching this workshop with Boulder's own Marcela Lay!!! It's gonna be such a BLAST!!! NO PARTNER NEEDED!!! This class is designed for students on all ends of the Intermediate spectrum. This workshop is NOT strictly ON2 and it is NOT strictly ON1 ... This Workshop is ON-TIME, so just come with an open mind and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. :) ********************************************* RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that each participant has a working knowledge of: -Basic Steps -Basic Left and Right Turns -Cross Body Leads ********************************************* ********************************************* GOALS OF THE WORKSHOP: - Push you past the repetition of the same combinations and moves every time you dance and tips to unlock what you know but never remember on the dance floor. - Infuse your current dancing with some new ideas or/and perspectives. -Reintroduce, revisit, or/and reinforce some fundamental techniques to strengthen your leading/following effectively. -Exploration of different timings. - Expand your overall creativity and rhythmic connection through timing to the music (Salsa/Bachata/Zouk/Kizomba/Merengue). - A brief introduction to Body Movements.
