ATUSA, the official Argentine Tango competition in the United States, has been sanctioned by the Tango World Cup in Buenos Aires for fifteen years. The two people who are the creative engine of this amazing competition/festival are returning to Los Angeles after a few years away. We invite you to welcome ANDREA MONTI & ADRIAN DORSO back to El Encuentro and take advantage of this great opportunity to study with them as they teach the pre-milonga class at 9pm. They will be offering a rhythmical sequence to stay in one spot on a crowded floor; "pique" turn combined with rebounds in different direction and walking exit. As the night crescendos thanks to the always stellar music of DJ Robert Le, we can look forward to turning the spotlight on Andrea and Adrian as they take to The Tango Room floor to perform for us. Adrian, an amazing singer, will also gift us with tangos we can dance to.
