The HUB: Carnaval Rio - A Brazilian Experience

On February 24th we are taking over The Metropolitan Entertainment Centre to celebrate CARNAVAL in collaboration with Folklorama Talent and the Brazillian Community in Winnipeg. Carnaval is one of the biggest parties in the world, celebrated annually across the globe and we want to bring the celebration to Winnipeg for the first time! Join us as we return to one of Winnipeg's most beautiful venues and share the biggest party of the year with us! The Metropolitan Entertainment Centre February 24th, 2017 283 Donald St. 8PM – 2AM Entertainment will include a performance by Brazilian-Canadian songwriter and Latin rhythmist Marco Castillo, Capoeira and drum performances from Viva Brasil, and an interactive salsa/samba experience by Salsa Explosion Dance Company! Dj David Gomez will be spinning the best Latin music, hip hop, R&B and dancehall all night long! Main sponsor, Carnaval | Brazilian BBQ will be giving away $1000.00 worth of gift certificates throughout the evening, while guests that arrive early enough will be treated to a complimentary welcome Caipirinha, a classic Brazilian cocktail sponsored by Cachaça Leblon.
