⚠️⚠️ Kizomba Weekender 2.0 ⚠️⚠️ Frans & Sarah - (Congo/Belgium) Kizombalove Academy The Kizomba Weekender - July 22nd and July 23rd An event by Darwin Kizomba Fever & Afro Latin Darwin!! Socials and workshops are coming soon 🔜 First ever Konpa Workshops in Darwin, plus Kizomba, Semba, Tarraxinha, and Ginga. These two incredible instructors hail from the Kizombalove Academy in Brussels, Belgium 🇧🇪 You would have seen their videos with lots of Ginga goodness by Sarah. They are amazing teachers, from my own personal experience learning from them in person. Frans and Sarah have a great teaching methodology and style and are highly sought after. We are very lucky to be hosting them in Darwin!! Schedule: 11:00am - 12:00pm Kizomba - Essence & Flow This workshop will help students develop their flow and fluidity in a partner setting. Students will introduced to new techniques that can be utilised on the social dance floor. 12:00pm - 1:00pm Ginga & Banga - Men’s Style vs Women’s Style This class will focus on expression and styling in Kizomba/Semba. Students will be taught body movements, footwork, and how to utilise this in a partner setting. 1:00pm - 1:45pm - BREAK 1:45pm - 2:45pm Semba - Neat Tricks (Social vs Show) This workshop will allow students to develop their social Semba dance. Frans and Sarah will be teaching you neat little tricks that can be used socially that are fun and enjoyable. 2:45pm - 4:00pm Konpa This will be the first time Konpa will be taught in Darwin!! This dance is from Haiti and is danced now at Kizomba festivals and parties. This workshop you will be introduced to the different styles of Konpa and will be shown the right way to connect to the music and your partner. ____________________ Payments: This first round we will only be releasing 20 early bird prices at the discounted rate of $140 The second round passes will be released at $150 No single passes will be available at this stage!!
