The Last Bristol Salsa party before Xmas: Nigel May & Andreas Ru

We've got one final treat to help you celebrate your well earned Christmas break. You know how great Nigel May and Sarah Leigh were back in August? The Dance floor was crackling with energy? Well, we got together with Nigel and Sarah, with one question? How can we welcome in Christmas with even more style? ★★𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹'𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 (& 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁) 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮!★★ Brought to you by Bristol Latin Project, in collaboration with La Tempesta! ★★Warning: This will be a latin party, but not as you know it! ★★ And what are we putting on the table for this Christmas Eve Eve Eve? The only way we could improve on August was to bring someone with possibly MORE energy than Nigel (We'll leave it to you to decide this).... For the first time in Bristol.... we'd like to welcome Andreas Ru (We'll be introducing this gentleman over the coming weeks, but we are genuinely excited!). ★★ Andreas is new and a real live wire. To experience is to love! ★★ Nigel will be your host for the evening..... leading us in animations, dance-offs and bringing some truly classy tracks to the dance floor. ★★ This will be a light-hearted and easily accessible party, ideal for your first time....if you're a regular dancer ... or if you are just in the city for the Christmas weekend★★ This particular Saturday is the start of the longest weekend of the year, so we will be up late with an afterparty to be confirmed !! ★★ We will not stop partying until you do first ★★ Schedule: Doors Open at 7.45pm for an 8.00pm start Classes start: 8pm. There will be THREE classes running parallel: Intermediate Salsa class with Andreas Ru! Be ready for Andreas to bring something new and fresh, and ladies - expect to be catered for ... this isn't just for leaders! Improvers Salsa Class with Nigel & Sarah! Bristol's very own Nigel and Sarah. Nigel is an amazing dancer with many years of dancing and teaching experience. He will lead a fun and funky improvers Salsa class (always with a difference)....ably assisted by Sarah. Beginner's Intro to Salsa class will be led by the Bristol Latin Project team! A relaxed and friendly class for beginners aimed at introducing them to Salsa! 9.00pm - 12:30am Latin Party Entry: Class & Party: £8 in advance, £10 on the door. Party only: £6 in advance & £9 on the door. Students (with valid Student Card): £2 discount of the relevant price. The Venue: The Balloon Bar is a large bar on the ground floor of the Student Union. University of Bristol (Clifton). The cheap, fully stocked bar will be open! While not a wooden dance floor, the dance space is large and suitable for dancing, and there is a nice seating area closer to the bar itself. The venue can comfortably hold over 150 people. About our guest teacher (In his own words): The Beast from the East 🙂! Born and raised in Russia, University gave me my first taste of steps in Latin rhythms and that's when I fell in love with the Latin Culture 🙂 So I traveled all over the world as a dancer and Dance Captain on US Cruise Ships. I love to dance, teach and perform. After 7 years here in the UK, I'm the owner of LostBoySoul Photography and Dance Studio and I teach Salsa, Bachata and Zumba in Congresses Festivals and events all around the UK and abroad. Dance is the story I fail to put into words. Music: The mix will be mostly Salsa and Bachata, with some Cha Cha, Kizomba and Merengue upon request.
