From that moment Eddie Hercules became fanatical about learning the dance & the culture, resulting in starting his journey as an instructor in 2017. Gaining confidence, in 2019 Eddie Hercules decided to put his style & technique to the test and competed in the worldwide dance competition, Olympiads of Kizomba in Paris. With his partner Mariah, they placed Top 8 in the Urban Kiz category and Semi Finales in the Tarraxo category. To date, Eddie Hercules travels spreading his passion for teaching, DJing, and performing worldwide. He also started a Dance school in 2018, founding The Kizomba Dance Alliance, which owns one of the largest weekly dance events in North America. Eddie began his journey learning Kizomba & Semba, continued to learn other styles of the dance, and now has found his niche in Kizomba Fusion.
