The MOB presents: DANCERS4 BLACK LIVES MATTER

The MOB presents the first multi panelist forum concerning the issues of race relations and the Black Live Matter movement. Dancers4 Black Lives Matter is an online forum brought to you by dancers from the Latin Social Dance Community. This 4 panel group will share their thoughts and experiences with the hope of opening up these uncomfortable conversations in a RESPECTFUL, SAFE and SUPPORTIVE environment. Though dance brought the speakers together this conversation is open to all people in all communities. Please join us to learn, share and grow together and make our corner of the world a better place. Our Panelists Damian Guzman (The Don) is a highly sought after DJ and Sensual Bachata instructor who has taught and worked across the US, Europe, Asia, Russia and Australia . He is also the founder of the MAFIA OF BEATS (aka The MOB) which comprises of over 7000 Salsa and Bachata dancers in the US. Edwin M Ferreras is the International Ambassador of Dominican Arts and Co-Founder of the educational company Areito Arts. Edwin is also an ethnomusicologist, music arranger/producer and an arts educator with the NYC Department of Education working with K thru 8 students. Jenny Geska is a Real Estate, Social Media and Dancer multiprenuer. She is a co-founder of Ayana Dance Project, one of the regional directors for NC Brazilian Arts and one of the organizers of BailaCura the annual non for profit dance festival that funds children’s cancer research. Muñeca Nieves (The Secretary) Developer of the MOB’s Dance Safety Forum Ms Nieves is both a public speaker and advocate on Sexual Assault and Awareness in the dance community. She is the lead for both the MOB’s Sexual Assault Task Force and the MOB Ladies Lead.
