THE PEPPER MOONS return The Moose! This time with With special guest vibraphonist on tour from the East Coast Jason “Malletman” Taylor the protégés of the late great Lionel Hampton! Focusing on the elegant, pre-bop styles from the glamorous days of the Swing Era, the group is fronted by acclaimed singer/songwriter Eva Mikhailovna and backed by a top-shelf quintet consisting of LA's finest jazz musicians. DJ SAILOR MIKE kicks off the evening with his cooler-than-cool brand of swinging tunes PLUS! Easy, breezy, nothin cheezy, beginning Collegiate Shag lesson with Shag Champion Sailor Mike & Vera Davidson! We'll be showing you the basic steps of this fun vintage dance from the 1930's! If you've seen it and are intimidated by the fast footwork don't be! It's easy to learn and doesn't have to wear you out! Don't sit out the fast songs anymore! If you already know some Balboa, then you're off in the right direction, shag will be a nice addition to your fast footwork repertoire!
