Save the date!!!!! On Saturday 01/07 we will have one of the most amazing Zouk dancers with us. Don't miss the opportunity to learn from one of the first Mzouk teachers. 2h worshop + 1h of practice 40$ Daniel Estevez: Daniel Estevez was born in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. In 1995 he met his teacher and mentor Gegê, who trained him to be a Capoeira and Mzouk teacher. In 2003 Daniel moves to Barcelona to continue his dance training. He studied classic dance with the famous professor Ion Beitia, Contact Improvisation with Natividad Insua and Contemporary dance with Pilar Dukes Torras. In 2005, with his sister Letica Estevez, founded Spiral Dance, a school specialized in Mzouk technique. In 2009 they create Spiral Dancers Mzouk Company, an amateur dance company that has been recently growing around the world. In 2012 he published the first zouk book in the history, “Mzouk, mi pequeño gran mundo”. In 2015 he was the Artistic Director of the Esencia Dance Company and created a very successful show “El Color de las Palabras” (“The Color of the Words”). In 2016 he finishes Summa Cumlaude the degree on contemporary dance at the ESDM in Barcelona. Now he lives in Palma de Mallorca where leads a new contemporary dance company and together with Leticia Estevez, lead Spiral Dancers in different parts of the world.
