Welcome to our 7th Edition The Springtime Tango Party! Are you ready for the next 3D? Hopefully you are as excited as we are. Usually our next Edition is always the best, and for this one we already have something completely new A new couple. They have been dancing socially for a long long time (10 years at least), but they’ve never performed together. For what we heard there is a connection in there that goes beyond explanations. This will be their first Professional Collaboration. Program Hiba Faisal & Vasco Martins. - Unique workshop on Effortless Boleos That boleo of your dreams, you know the one, dynamic elastic and beautiful - let's create with minimal effort and taking into account correct technique, embrace, timing and musicality. The workshop starts at 15.00 hs until 16.30 - General Class by Hiba and Vasco from 17.00 till 18.00 The general Class is open to all levels and it works as a class but also as a preparation for the Milonga with tips and insides from the teachers. Performance Hiba and Vasco will be performing around 9.30 - 10.00 The Milonga will start at 18:00 and it will go until almost midnight. The Dj will be Diego Doigneau. The prices are: Effortless Boleo Unique Workshop by Hiba and Vasco: £20 General Class + Milonga: £15 (£16 at the door) Milonga Only (includes a drink wine, beer or even fernet!) £12 only (£13 at the door) But you know that this is not all We can’t put in words the vibes and the laughs + the quality of Tango And As usually there will be 2 tandas of free chips for all and you’ll have your drink with your ticket and there will be prizes for those buying online and more. About Hiba and Vasco HIBA FAISAL - UK What started as a passion, organically developed into a profession, Hiba Faisal has been dancing tango for nearly 20 years well as being the co-founder and co-director of Tango-Fever, one of the best tango schools in London, since 2008. Hiba's foundations are traditional but her methods embrace modern techniques and natural, organic movement. She is especially passionate about 'social' tango and about nurturing each dancer’s own personal expression of the dance. Hiba has taught and performed all over Europe as well as USA and Argentina. VASCO MARTINS - Portugal It was the musicality and the multiple possibilities of the dance that first attracted Vasco to tango in what he describes as 'love at first sight'. A foundation of body awareness rooted in martial arts which Vasco began at the age of 16, coupled with a love of music and study of percussions gave the perfect grounding to pursue this new love - first in Lisbon, then through traveling and studying with the best and most inspiring teachers. Vasco is known as a highly musical and dynamic dancer. He has taught and performed all over Europe. He believes that "learning tango requires a sustained and continous effort based on a critical eye, respect and love for your partner and for what you do".
