THE THREE AMIGOS SUMMER SALSA JAM featuring DJs Lubi, Fabio Bahia and Nicolai V....another Calle Ocho Latin Vibe joint venture!

Salseros, rumberos, casineros and bachateros! Calle Ocho and Latin Vibe are proud to present another salsa social featuring the north's favourite DJs - Lubi (Calle Ocho/Revolucion De Cuba Manchester), Fabio Bahia (Calle Ocho/Viva La Musica) and Nicolai V (Latin Vibe/Fuego Latino). We threw a great party on Spring Bank Holiday Sunday at The Wardrobe in Leeds and had so much fun playing together for the first time in years that we vowed we would do it again one day soon. No dance classes, dance shows or live band, just three DJ mates with over 50 years experience between them jamming from start to finish playing the best in salsa and Latin music for dancers! A really nice and relaxed atmosphere with all dance tribes coming together - cross body, Cuban, Colombian, streetsalsa - and everyone catered for. Salsa dura, salsa clasica, salsa Cubana/Nuyoriquena/Colombiana, salsa romantica, mambo, cha cha cha, bachata, son Cubano and even a merengue or two! The party was purely about music, dancing, beer and rum...the only way to party! So, we all had this Saturday night in August free and the venue was available and we decided "let's do it". Everyone is complaining there are no Saturday salsa events in the city anymore so here is one. No advance tickets this time. Just come on the night and pay on the door. We are doing £6/£5 students from 9pm to 10.30pm, thn £8/£7 students, so come down early and get the discount and hear DJ Lubi spinning some vintage salsa vinyls again. The Three Amigos Summer Salsa Jam....a nice little warm-up for Motion City plus our big parties coming in the autumn so see you at The Wardrobe folks Saturday 16th August.
