The Vagabond Jacks

The Vagabond Jacks is a new Trad Jazz collective that involves local and travelling musicians. The band was founded by Ali Affleck in an effort to expand interest to new musicians and had huge success at the Edinburgh Fringe playing with American and French musicians. The Edinburgh Jazz 'n Jive Club offers on Fridays live Jazz music in a relaxed club house atmosphere, with a bar and an excellent, wooden dance floor. The music is generally suitable for dancing Foxtrot and Swing (Lindy Hop, Shag, Balboa). Come along to listen to superb Jazz and to dance the evening away! No need to book in advance, just come along! The entry fee is £12 for non-members and £10 for members. Entry is free for accompanying carers and accompanied children. The fee can be paid at the door by card and cash. The main entrance is from Bangholm Terrace, with step-free access from Warriston Gardens corner Inverleith Row.
