"'THE WALK, PIVOTS AND TURNS" We are happy to invite you to our next Foundations Immersion Seminar in Buenos Aires! Please join us for 5 days focused on essential aspects of tango: TECHNIQUE * BODY AWARENESS * CONNECTION * MUSICALITY * FLOORCRAFT... ... in other words, a 20-hour immersion seminar focused exclusively on foundations, stripping your dance to its essential components and rebuilding it from the bottom up and from the inside out! WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: A serious, comprehensive, in-depth week of study exploring the pilars of tango: individual and partnered walk and pivot technique, technique and options for turns in close embrace, including notions of rhythm and phrasing in tango, vals and milonga. Attention to detail and individualized instruction (the group is limited to 20 students) so as to challenge newer and experienced dancers alike, at their own level. And some serious fun and laughter to go along with the serious work! WHAT YOU SHOULDN'T EXPECT: fancy steps and complex sequences. We will focus on building and refining your movement.
