About this Event
Elefin Coffee WAS a wonderful café and restaurant dedicated to the “community culture” in Bangkok.
This unique establishment WAS owned by the Somboon family.
Salsa started at Elefin Coffee in 2008 as a charity activity under the Asiafrica Foundation project thanks to our great friend Luka Wong.
Since then, Salsa Practice and Party (SP&P) by “Salsa Concept” ™ has made a name for itself and has attracted number of regular salseros (as) in Thailand and from around the world.
After 5 years of memorable Sunday parties, we've learned that the property has been sold to some real estate investors... We're all sad to hear the news.
But nothing too good lasts forever... Elefin Coffee will be no more...
Let's express our gratitude and say goodbye.
At the same time, we are happy and proud to announce that Salsa Concept Academy will continue at Rum Puree
World Dance Studio located at Spanish On 4 (Silom Soi 4 - Bts Sala Daeng), starting from April 7th 2013 onwards...
We will continue to share with you “On 2 Salsa dancing”, “Afro Cuban Rumba, body movement and “History of Salsa and Musicality”.
We remain a cultural and non-profit activity under the Asiafrica foundation project, but your support will always be appreciated.
To make a long story short I've created a "Photo collage" to tell the story of "Sunday Salsa in Bangkok" from Noriega's to Tamarind Cafe and Elefin Coffee... A story of passion for salsa music and dance, love, dedication and learning...
Let's have a great farewell party this Sunday...
There will be fingertip food and drink.
Salsa Concept team (Saori, Tiger, Lyn and myself) will be there to entertain you with our signature music and style.
You are allowed to bring wine, liquor, champagne and anything to have fun and make noise from 3 PM to 10 PM...
