Join Candela Jozi Dance Company at the Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel, Sandton Johannesburg on Thursdays from 6pm - 10:30pm for salsa classes and social dancing! 6:30pm: Levels 0 & 1 (absolutely beginners and beginners, split classes) 7:30pm: Levels 2 & 3 (improvers and intermediate split classes) Social dancing 8:30pm onwards Style: New York style salsa, 'on2' (if you're new to this don't worry - we'll explain what that means!) Format: You'll learn footwork, rhythm & timing as well as partnerwork (no partner required; we will switch it up to make sure everyone gets to dance!) Salsa is a social dance for everyone and anyone and is about having fun and enjoying the music. Even if you think you have two left feet, give it a try! For more seasoned dancers, come and practise dancing 'on2' and improve your rhythm, timing and turn-patterns, not to mention enjoy a new spot to dance during the week! Come along and dance with us in the heart of the city at a great venue with some excellent food, drinks and views! R80 per class, drop-in R120 for two classes on the same night (great to sort out basics & technique!)
