📣📣Calling all lindy hoppers, balboa-heads, charleston nuts, and shag enthusiasts! Come on out to Portland's longest-running swing dance, bringing you fantastic live jazz music on Norse Hall's magnificent floor. The Hot Lovin' Jazz Babies strive to resurrect the spirit of late 1930’s small band ensembles such as Fats Waller & his Rhythm, Teddy Wilson and his Orchestra and Billy Holiday and her Orchestra. Swing Foundations Lesson (Included w/Purchase of Dance) Dance $15 | All Ages *Schedule* 6:30 Doors open 6:45 - 7:45 Swing Foundations Lesson w/Eric & Meg Learn to both lead and follow in this Foundations ELEF (everybody leads, everybody follows) Lindy Hop class! We will focus on musical dancing and the ability to express and listen from either position or dance role through basic Lindy Hop footwork, rhythm, and partner connection. You do not need any experience nor a partner to join this class! *Doors to lessons will be closed at 7PM.
