Your body is a trans-morphing architecture; join me as we examine and refine the foundation. Space is limited. Must reserve online. DETAILS Free parking in the neighborhood. Please arrive on time. Dress to sweat and move in all directions. No perfumes/colognes. No hard accessories, hair clips, belts, buttons, zippers. Dress in layers for warming up and cooling down. Recommended barefoot for the workshop. Flat soft dance shoes welcome, no street shoes. Bring knee pads if you have them. Bring a water bottle. AGENDA • Arrival and a light snack, hot tea and cookies will be included. • Workshop begins with a circle of intention setting and introductions. • Embodiment warm up. • Practice, facilitated games and facilitated partner and group movement and dance. Intermittent circle and community wisdom sharing. • Finish the evening together dancing a freeform movement journey curated music by DJ Wild Zen. • Closing circle and community wisdom sharing. BIO: In 2011 I became certified to teach Axis Syllabus, a knowledge resource for researching and optimizing human movement. I’ve combined this with my 12+ years of professional performance experience in contemporary dance, fluid acrobatics, theatre, and contact improv, to create workshops and classes that provide challenges on multiple levels for a diversity of participants.
