Learn different styles of traditional Cuban dance from "Cuban" instructors with over 40 years of combined professional dance, performance, and instructors experience. Improve your skills and integrate Cuban body movement with your Casino dancing abilities. About Ana llorente: Born and raised in Cuba, graduated with honors from the Cuban National School of Arts(ENA) specializing in Modern Dance and Afro-cuban Folklore, her intensive training and dedication from her roots in Cuba gave her the opportunity to win a scholarship in Choreography at Weslyan University in Connecticut, USA. This scholarship, coming from a U.S educational institution, was a completely unique opportunity for a Cuban citizen. She was also recognized by the Cuban National Institute of Writers and Artists as the best performer and choreographer of her age at the “Invitation Only” dance festival in Havana, Cuba. About Aramis Pazos: Born and raised in Cuba, a graduate of the Cuban National School of Arts(ENA) with a degree in both Modern and Afro-Cuban Folklore dance, he has danced professionally for over 20 years. In Cuba, he apprenticed with the National Dance Company and the National Folkloric Company, and toured internationally with Ballet Tropicana. In Mexico, he choreographed and produced musicals and cabarets, and was a soloist and assistant choreographer for “Jarocho”, an international touring production directed by Richard Neon’s, the assistant director of “Riverdance.” Ana and Aramis will join forces with MySalsa Dance School and fellow Cuban Chino Casino to offer local instruction teaching a variety of traditional Cuban dances and will lend her dance and choreography talents to the MySalsa Dance Team. * ALL LEVELS WELCOME!!!
