"Train and Chill" is an Intensive-style workshop series specially designed for dancers looking to take their Tarraxinha and Tarraxo dancing to the next level. We offer 2 sessions with no more than 14 participants (7 lead/7 follow) per session. Limited spaces ensure participants receive direct, hands-on access with Marietta and Pamela resulting in best opportunity for personal dance development. What are the requirements? As this is an advanced intensive, certain requirements need to be met in order to join. You do not need to have taken this course previously, however the following prerequisites are required for both tarraxinha and tarraxo: - Tarraxinha and Tarraxo Basics - Body movements with basic understanding of isolation - Frames for lead & follow - Intention and energy behind each movement If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to message Marietta Villalobos or Pamelita Mpk! Workshop Dates/Times: Friday: Group 1 Tarraxinha 7:30pm-11:30pm Saturday: Group 1 Tarraxo 10am-2:00pm Saturday: Group 2 Tarraxinha 4:30pm-8:30pm Sunday: Group 2 Tarraxo 12:00pm-4:00pm Workshops will offer: - History on the various dances in Tarraxinha/Tarraxo. - Dance Drills to take home - Physical exercises to practice - Isolated body movement techniques - Musicality, and so much more! - Light refreshments will also be available Workshop Pricing: Receive nearly 8 hours of of Intensive Training and Hands-on instruction with two of the best and brightest for only $150!
