TRAIN THE TEACHERS 2020 SESSION I I. Target public You are an experienced Urbankiz / Kizomba DANCER and now you want to start to teach Urbankiz ? You are an ASSISTANT in Urbankiz / Kizomba and now it is time for you to teach alone ? You are already an experienced Urbankiz / Kizomba TEACHER and you want to upgrade your dance & teaching skills ? “TTT” (TRAIN THE TEACHERS) will provide you as single or couple teachers the necessary knowledge that you need to teach in your region, to developp your own teaching structure and to adapt to students requirements from the national and international scenes. Although the “TTT” is majoritarily designed on the needs of the german dance scene, it is still an international programm. It is opened to any dancers coming from other countries and ready to build themselves. As you know all started with kizomba. That is the reason why this programm will be of course focussed on the urbankiz dance but will not forget kizomba. 4 of our best international artists from Germany and France will be your mentors: URBANKIZ PART (70%)  Donald Wilson, Stone’s Rock & Meli KIZOMBA PART (30%)  Tony Gomes (Afromove) - According to the participants the entire training programm will be given in maximum 3 languages (German, English, French) - Maximum of participants: 20 couples or 18 couples & 4 single people. Couples are prior in the registration. II. Content 14 hours in 2 days (7 hours per day) *KIZOMBA 30 % URBANKIZ 70% *50% Theory & 50% practice *Kizomba & Urbankiz knowledge *Kizomba rules & principles *Urbankiz rules & principles *Identify the “beginner valley” + Excercises *Identify the “intermediate valley” + Excercises *Teaching pedagogy & alternatives *How to face “Teaching struggles “ ? *W H W rule for beginner & intermediate dancers What to teach ? How to teach WHAT? When to teach WHAT ? *How to improve your own dance as a teacher ! *How to structrure your own training sesion ! ************************************************************************** !!!
