Have you ever seen a beautiful tree and wondered what its name is? Then this class is perfect for you! Afterwards we will have a fun picnic together to connect and socialize. If you would like to join the picnic after the class, please bring a blanket and something to eat. About the Instructor: Lisa Nett is an enthusiastic tree spotter and instructor on the merits of looking closely at the trees in your neighborhood. She has a degree in Natural Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and years of experience stacking firewood on her family's farm in Wisconsin. Meeting Location: Inside Prospect Park (a few minutes from Grand Army Plaza)- by the large tree directly across from the Garfield Tot Lot. The closest park entrance is at Garfield Place and Prospect Park West. If you are using mapping software use: Garfield Tot Lot, 20 West Drive to help find your way. Limited tickets are available We suggest getting tickets early. If there is light rain, we will still have the class. If there is heavy rain, we will cancel and give a refund. In the event of a possible rain forecast, we will announce by 10am the day of, to let you know if the class is still on. Everyone must wear a mask during the class. $20.
