Tribal Temple Ecstatic Dance

Welcome to Tribal Temple, Brighton's longest running regular ecstatic dance event! Ecstatic dance is a practice of welcoming all the parts of ourselves and dancing *with* them, finding joy in liberation of peer-pressure and self-expectation, liberating inhibition and leaving the inner-critic behind to more fully express our innate joyfulness. The music progresses through a flow of different styles, joyful, moving, uplifting, euphoric, funky, psychedelic.... There will be light suggestions but this is a mostly unguided practice... surrender yourself to the music and let your body be the guide. We have professional quality sound and lighting and a chill-out and cuddle space for taking time out and connecting with friends. The night begins with an opening ritual (including cacao) and end with a guided meditation and closing circle.
