About this Event
Welcome to 3 days & nights of tropical discoteq vibes !
Created by Emile Omar over 7 years ago in Paris as a monthly party on tuesday night, tropical discoteq is a wild journey through time and space : from Africa to Latin America and the Caribbeans. Soon celebrating 100 editions, tropical discoteq drops for the very first time 3 days & night of unique blend of music that made its success at fantastic Maori Beach Bar, one hour from Thessalonique in Halkidikii, Greece.
Connected with londoner Sofrito family, the party is a tribute to the rich and often overlooked musical legacy of tropical countries and an anthem for togetherness ... so come with us to dance & celebrate on kompa, kadans, soca, soukous, merengue, biguine, calypso, semba, reggae, mambo, samba, highlife, plena, salsa !
