TROPICAL ROOTS IS BACK!!! After a crazy summer of festivals, musical foraging, Afro/Latin flavours and flipping fun, we're back to salute the summer with some SALSA!!! We're so excited to be in a new venue:- The Hamilton House Events Space (Above the Canteen). Please check the side of the packet for full details, as the all new TR's look contains a diverse range of Tropical "T NUMBERS"... LA BODEGA TRIO Playing a chilled mix of salsa's and mambo's led by Martin Jenkins on piano, and Sol Ahmed on double bass, and Lisa Cherian on Congas. CONJUNTO GRINGO Recently ripping up the the main stage at the Bristol Harbourside Festival, Conjunto Gringo will be playing the best of their instrumental salsa. Made up of Bristol's best Salsa/Jazz fusiliers, this band create an exciting jazzy take on some salsa standards, and original compositions. Also TR's favourite Dj Belafonte will be playing a mix of Afro/Latin beats till 1am! The CoResist bar will be serving a mixture of Rum cocktails, and Tropical delights from 8pm. Plus some suprise suport! All for £3, and only 120 people capacity, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment
