One of the essential skills you'll develop is understanding the signals and their meanings conveyed through facial expressions. Additionally, we will be using a different type of card deck, adding an exciting twist to the game. Truco is played with two teams of two players, with each player having a fixed partner. This means that a total of four players are involved in a game of Truco. In Truco, assessing your opponents plays an important role. It requires sharpening your non-verbal communication skills, such as reading facial expressions and body language. Players try to outsmart their opponents by increasing the value of their cards and guessing what their opponents have in their hands. Truco is played with a special deck of 40 cards, known as the "Spanish cards" or "Argentine cards". These cards are divided into four suits: swords, cups, clubs, and coins.
