Tubing Adventure & River Jam (BRB after party!)

Kick back and relax after Blue Ridge Bal by joining us on our second annual musical tubing adventure! Float, toss some drinks and snacks for the cooler, and if you are even slightly musically inclined, bring a trashy instrument to play on the river. Last year we had a guitar, trumpet, melodica, kazoo, as well as plenty of voices- we may even have a dance party in the river if we get snagged on some rocks! LOGISTICS: We'll meet at Zen Tubing's South Asheville location (don't go to the wrong one- we are meeting at 1648 Brevard Rd, Asheville NC 28806), where you can park and rent a tube + shuttle service. **Be there at 10:30 am, and we'll start floating at 11** It takes some time to gather payment, get folks organized and such, so please don't be late. Bring $15 in exact change (that's the group rate- if we don't have enough people it'll be $20), which includes your tube, parking and a shuttle back when we finish. The length of the trip depends on the water level- it can take anywhere from 2-4 hours. BRING: $15-$20 Footwear (flip flops, sandals, old sneakers, crocks, etc.) Sunscreen Sunglasses Visors or hats Swim wear or clothing you don’t mind getting wet Towels (leave in your car) Snacks/drinks to put in the cooler A musical instrument you don't mind getting wet (optional) ***Rain plan: There is a chance of rain that day, so keep an eye out on this page if the weather looks questionable. Rain plan: Meet at the Asheville Pinball Museum at 1 pm (when they open), downtown Asheville. They have a bar and you can play all the vintage pinball machines! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Blue Ridge Bal is Asheville's summer swing dance event, focused on one of our favorite dances (balboa).
