Tuesday Blues - Second March Dance

We're kicking 2022 off with a new schedule! While the Mercury Café has not re-opened on Tuesday yet, we are operating on a schedule of two dances per month. The first night will always regularly be the first Friday of every month, and the second night will vary month-to-month as a Friday or Saturday that fits into the Merc's calendar of events. (And yes, while the dance isn't on Tuesday, it's still being called Tuesday Blues. 'Cause, y'know, tradition.) Come join us and shake the dust off your Blues groove! The night is kicking off at 7:30 with an hour-long fundamentals lesson, perfect for both those looking to learn a new dance as well as seasoned dancers looking to get the rust off their gears. Our instructor for this week is Grey Armstrong! The lesson is $7 by itself or $15 for the lesson and the dance. The dance is $10 and starts at 8:30 immediately following the lesson. Our DJs this week are Grey Armstrong and Colin Newton. Come dance with us and check out Denver’s best hidden gem! Want to make a night of it? Don’t forget there’s a full bar and restaurant downstairs! The kitchen only serves fresh, local, organic food with many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. There's a new menu with plenty of new, tasty offerings. Come out and support local businesses! ****COVID MANDATE REQUIREMENTS**** The City and County of Denver has reinstated their mask mandate, meaning masks are required in all public indoor spaces for everyone age 2 and up regardless of vaccination status. At this dance, vaccines and masks are required, cards will be checked at the door, and hand sanitizer is always available. Expect to fill out your contact information at the door in the event COVID contact tracing needs to occur.
