Tuesday Night Blues: Halloween 2.0 feat Curtis Hawkins!

Are you sad the Halloween dance was cancelled because of the snow? Are you itching to break out your costume again, or try a new one out? Were you excited to take part in the costume contest (details at bottom)? Maybe Guy Fawkes is your thing?* Well fret not, Halloween 2.0 is upon us! Join us for a night of Blues dancing (and costumes) in the biggest community in the nation. Don’t know what that is? Don’t know how to dance? Let us show you both in our $5, 7:45pm class on the fundamentals. No partner? No problem! We will get you confidently dancing in less that an hour until late into the night. If you’ve been dancing a while and either checking out the community, visiting, or actually reading the event, join us for our $7, 7pm intermediate lesson. It’s challenging and will level up your dancing! Your instructor this month is Aimee Eddins. The intermediate class series will be exploring a specific song or artist each week and exploring a Blues idiom that goes well with that musical style. This week will be focusing on Got My Mojo Working by Muddy Waters and how to make dancing fast look easy.This week's fundamentals lesson is on Jukin'. You won't want to miss this! This week we've got the Curtis Hawkins Band, once again featuring the legendary pianist Ken Saydak! If you missed the last time he played with Curtis, you'll definitely want to hear this amazing talent. After the band Miklo Moll will be DJing for the rest of the night.
