A warm welcome to Tuesday Night Hop LIVE, where Blue Pepper will sweep you onto the dance floor with their vibrant blend of 1930s–40s hot jazz and Parisian swing! Blue Pepper is a Helsinki-based ensemble that brings the timeless sound of acoustic hot jazz to life, drawing inspiration from the classic styles of the 1930s and 1940s. Their repertoire blends foot-tapping American jazz classics with the European jazz tradition popularized in Paris, particularly influenced by the music of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, in addition to other more modern and varied influences. At its core, the band features a trio of two acoustic guitars and a double bass, usually joined by a rotating guest musician—adding an element of surprise to each performance. Past guests have included female vocals, trumpet, trombone, and violin, enriching the ensemble’s dynamic sound.
