TUMBAO Salsa Monthly

Loud Djs presents TUMBAO, Ventura's hottest new salsa event, featuring rotating guest DJs spinning classic gems on vinyl and the latest in salsa, cumbia, bachata and merengue on the last Saturday of every month! The finals of our TUMBAO Salsa Dancing Competition will be going down this month, and the first and second place winner will be taking home over $1500 in cold cash and amazing prizes! We've had some spectacular contestants so this showdown is not to be missed! The winners also get to perform their routine onstage at the Oxnard Salsa Festival! Every month we will bring you different guest DJs from outside Ventura and invite new guest dance instructors. Beginners and experienced dancers alike are welcome to come early for dance lessons and stay late for drink specials, including $20 Coronas buckets, $4 Peligroso Tequila shots and $7 authentic Cantaritos! This month's guest instructors are Marco Aguilar & Amber Giallo from Santa Barbara! Cover is only $5 before 10:30pm and $10 afterwards 21 & up with proper ID. Please dress to impress! Plenty of FREE parking at the harbor. Dance classes begin at 9:30pm and DJs kick things off at 10:30!
