On an island continent tens of thousands of miles from the music’s birthplace; Melbourne-based Salsa & Latin Jazz orchestra TUMBAO SOCIAL, a robust, charismatic 11-piece ensemble with an atypical horn lineup alongside the classic salsa rhythm section was conceived with several ambitious goals in mind. To create world-class music, to pay homage to the elegant latin dance & salsa romantica orchestras of the 80’s and 90’s, and to bestow swingin’ rhythmic bliss upon the public. 🎧 Randy Castilla returns to the decks as well spinning some hot vinyl from his amazing collection!!
