About this Event
United Country Western Dance Council (UCWDC) Division 1 Couples World Champion and Masters Competitor—and professional ballroom instructor—Brittney Valdez headlines the January 29th West Coast Wednesdays (WCW).
“My beginner/novice lesson will give you enough to have you on the floor and looking like a longtime West Coast Swing (WCS) veteran, whether you’ve been dancing for one week, one month, or one year,” Brittney says. “In my intermediate (and above) class, we’ll focus on illusion turns, and how to apply them in social WCS settings.”
Brittney’s lessons for the evening will cover:
– For the 7:00 novice/beginner-level lesson – West Coast Swing Foundations – Get the basics to get you on the floor as a first-time dancer; or solidify your basics and keep your WCS foundation solid.
– For the 7:45 intermediate-level lesson – Illusion Turns – Take your WCS magic to Criss Angel-like levels with a crash course on how to do illusion turns in a social setting.
“I’m elated to return to teach at WCW,” Brittney says. “I hope to see familiar and new faces and to help make this a most magical evening.”
