UK2 Improvers: Urban Kiz Intermediate classes

RVA Urban Kiz Improvers series is Level 2 training for advanced beginners and intermediate UK dancers who have graduated from Foundations or Level 1+2 or completed equivalent training elsewhere. Each series is topical, diving deep into a technical theme. Hooked on Flow will help you level up your leg play and smooth out your turns and direction changes. These classes will be co-taught by Jennifer and Nii via Dancarina Events in partnership with DanceFlowHaven monthly on Fridays from 7-8:30pm on the following dates: Sept 26, 2025 Oct 24, 2025 Nov 21, 2025 Dec 19, 2025 Jan 23, 2026 Enrollment is now open at dancarinaevents.com for single-classes, 2-4 class packages or full 5-class series package--the more classes you sign up for the bigger your discount: Single class: $35 2 classes: $65 3 classes: $95 4 classes: $120 5-class series: $140 Indicate lead or follow role when signing up. Students who sign up for the full 5-class series will receive complimentary admission to KizLab guided practica bi-monthly on Thursdays with Jennifer. See calendar on dancarinaevents.com for dates. Beginner/level 1 training is also offered in fall session - look for the UK1 Foundations class invite. We encourage all students to also attend as many KizLab guided practicas as possible and also plan to attend the Tuesday Kizzouk socials to practice what you are learning and build muscle memory and confidence. Each class requires a minimum of 8 students. If the minimum is not reached 10 days prior to class, class will be cancelled and students will have the option to receive a refund or rollover fees to another class or series. No refunds for any other reason. All students must join the WhatsApp Class Hub (this is mandatory). What shoes to wear? You can train in socks, soft-soled dance shoes, or clean sneakers that were not worn in from the street. Ladies very often dance Urban Kiz in sneakers but heels work too. Note: All classes and the weekly social are held at The Ox, a private home in RVA. Address will be provided after enrollment. For allergy awareness, one short-haired dog lives in this home.
