Hello everyone and welcome to UN PLACER, Session 55! Although we have two more sessions scheduled in 2023, it's time to celebrate the end of this year, and we're doing it big!! Presenting... HIBA FAISAL & VINICIUS FLORES! They will be performing for their final show in London in 2023, and it will be here at UN PLACER! VINICIUS FLORES is an Argentinian tango dancer, teacher, and DJ. Coming from a family of dancers, he is the son of ‘Pio’ Valentin Cruz, a renowned tango and folklore dancer since the 1970s. Vinicius has been immersed in the tango life since his childhood: his first performance on stage was at the age of 4, teaching since 14, and DJing since 13. After many years in South America, he is now spreading tango throughout Europe and the UK. In his dance, Vinicius draws on his experience as a professional pianist. His unique, undefinable style honours traditional tango while breaking patterns with his creativity. ———— Co-founder of Tango-Fever, one of the longest-established tango schools in London, HIBA FAISAL has been dancing for more than 20 years. She has taught, performed, and DJ’d all over Europe, the USA, as well as in Buenos Aires. Her dance is recognised for its sensitivity and curiosity in exploring the possibilities of tango.
