Underscore Immersion

Join us for a the Global Underscore Berkeley (Satellite) Event: Underscore Immersion at Finnish Hall, Saturday, June 22. Let's celebrate Underscore and join global Underscore community in the non-synchronized session. One day immersion will include usual 4 hrs practice as well as a deep dive 1,5 hr guided exploration of a few key components and practices related to Underscore as well as to the fundamental elements of the form of contact improvisation itself. Specifically we will explore several key factors that contribute and promote a sustainable and balanced contact improvisation practice and help you enjoy and make the most out of your time at Underscore. This will also allow for a time to ask questions about Underscore nuances and put them to test together and individually. $25 - $60 Participation Fee. The minimum price for this underscore+class combo is offered low so we can have as many fun dancers at the Underscore Event as possible. The higher tiered fees subsidize the lower tiers. Please support the sustainability of this facilitated community event by contributing as much as you can afford. Facilitated by Vitali Kononov, a long time enthusiast of Underscore and contact teacher ,who started offering a regular monthly practice in 2010 co-hosted with Rosemary Hannon, at Shotwell Studio in SF, and continued at Finnish Hall later until the COVID disruption.
