Pure cacao is used as a medicine to open the heart and for people to safely experience awakening, revelation and inner healing. Cocoa is used in a sacred medicinal ritual, where intentions are set and once consumed, states of euphoria are unlocked, negative emotions are released and we can connect with ourselves and the loving energy of our body. We will work with the energy of the day due to the Mayan calendar. This day is 11 Batz - the monkey. It´s the perfect day to tear down all limitations and boundaries, and explore completly new and unheard-of ideas and concepts. Danza tu Danza is a free and experimental dance proposal in which the body expresses itself consciously, away from all the superfluous things we associate with typical night clubs. It is a new facet of Nilo Castillo better known as Nilo MC (Dj, Artist, Cuban Producer), who was a pioneer of Hip Hop in Cuba and nominated to the Latin Grammys. Nilo prepares the ground for the participants by showing a Dj session where contemporary electronic sounds merge with the music of ancestral cultures. Not only the Afro-Cuban musical heritage is shown but also the whole musical melting pot of the cultures of the five continents, making them coincide with the contemporary genres. A journey towards the self, through a musical collage that shows us at the crossroads between technology and magic; between modernity and nature. --------------- ESPAÑOL Las ceremonias de cacao existen desde hace miles de años, y se remontan a las tradiciones maya y azteca de América Central y del Sur, y se utilizan con fines espirituales, medicinales y ceremoniales para el despertar interior y la orientación creativa. El cacao puro se utiliza como medicina para abrir el corazón y para que las personas experimenten con seguridad el despertar, la revelación y la curación interior. El cacao se utiliza en un ritual medicinal sagrado, en el que se fijan las intenciones y, una vez consumido, se desbloquean los estados de euforia, se liberan las emociones negativas y podemos conectar con nosotros mismos y con la energía amorosa de nuestro cuerpo. No solo el acervo musical afrocubano es mostrado sino también tienen cabida todo el crisol musical de las culturas de los cinco continentes haciéndolas coincidir con los géneros contemporáneos.. Nilo führt die Teilnehmer durch eine DJ Session, in der sich moderne elektronische Klänge mit der Musik alter Kulturen vermischen: Hier verschmilzt nicht nur das reiche Erbe afrokubanischer Rhythmen, sondern Musik von allen fünf Kontinenten mit elektronischen Beats. Eine Reise zu sich selbst durch eine musikalisch-kulturelle Collage. ***Annette Assmy is a filmmaker, a creative soul, a master of ceremonies and is walking the path of an earth keeper. Her heart's desire is to bring soul-nourishing shamanic wisdom to the western world. She learned from the Society of the Four Winds, Dr. Alberto Villoldo and is certified in Luminous Healing and Energy Medicine. Since November 2014 she is learning directly from the Peruvian shamans, called Paqos at the Serena Anchanchu School. She is initiated by them as Pampa Mesayok; Guardian of the earth. Since April 2020 she graduated in the Bard Degree in the Celtic Tradition. Since 2012 she is giving Energetic Healing sessions and doing group seminars (The Rite of the Womb and Munay-Ki etc.). She is also a recent Cacao Guardian through Cacao Mama and has completed a Cacao Facilitator Training with Lavalove Cacao with Izaias S. Mendoza.
