Ups and Downs presents a series of taster dance classes in the upcoming months. ** Program January 2nd ** __ Back to basic with Bianca & Nils (SE/IT)__ We really like going back to basics. Rhythm, Contrast, Risk with Maria Ferrer (ES)__ A moment to enjoy the pleasure of moving, the rhythms in it and the power of daring to lose control… taking some risks and enjoying the possibilities of this journey. Always in a swing dance context. 2Pm - 3pm --> ZOOM Link: https://zoom.us/j/97933136625 __ Rhythm and groove with Marie N'diaye (FR)__ An one hour jazz class with Marie Ndiaye focusing on rhythm and groove. 3:30pm - 4:30pm --> ZOOM link: https://zoom.us/j/91649648127 __ introduction to Boogie Boogie with Elke & Tomas (BE) / Crazy Legs__ At the end of the twenties the first recordings of Boogie Woogie piano were made. The dance originated in the 40's from the Lindy Hop, and was danced on the rock & roll from the 50's. This cheerful partner dance at faster paces is of course a fully-fledged dance in itself, but is also ideal as an introduction to the world of swing, or as an addition to your Lindy Hop. 3:30pm - 4:30pm --> ZOOM LINK: https://zoom.us/j/97333631976 __ Break Out - cozy at home __ After the dance class we are warmed up to dance or to hang out with some dancers! Welcome everyone to Break Out. Today we'll have a special edition: Cozy @ Home. Several activities will be going on.
